Raspberry Pi Remote Access Using SSH, VNC and Raspberry Pi Connect

This tutorial explains how to remote access Raspberry pi.

Remote Access

Remote access refers to the ability to access and interact with a computer or network from a remote location, typically through a network connection.

RPi Remote Access Techniques

There are 3 main remote access techniques used by Raspberry Pi. And those are:

SSH or Serial Shell

This is basically being connected through a terminal. It can be done through terminal software, like PuTTy, RealTerm, etc. We used PuTTY for this:

VNC or Virtual Network Computing

It needs VNC client installed in user PC. Again there are different VNC clients, like TigerVNC, RealVNC, etc are available. We have used TigerVNC in our tutorial:

Raspberry Pi Connect:

Raspberry Pi Connect provides both connection similar to VNC and SSH. It is done through Pi Connect Server and it is currently in Beta version. Please check this link to create your account and make connection with Raspberry Pi:
