We have over 15 years of experience in antenna & EM simulations. We can offer support with antenna and rf systems design and simulation. Please see the list of projects on antenna design and EM simulations. Contact us for more details.
Example Project 1
Title: Compact Printed Antennas for Wireless Applications
Description:
We designed multiple compact patch antennas for numerous frequencies ranges (3.1–23.5 GHz) and (4.3 to 13.4 GHz) for one of our clients for microwave image detection and Radar application. Various design techniques including monopole and microstrip patch antenna in the front side while defected ground structure (DGS) and U-shaped in the back side has been used. All of these structures have small electrical dimensions (at lower initial frequency) and minimalistic footprints. We used Ansys HFSS to design the antennas and ADS to verify its electrical properties.

Example Project 2
Title: mm-wave Coplanar waveguide (CPW) Feed Antenna
Description:
In this work, simulation analysis of Coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed antenna on different substrate for mm wave applications is investigated. The antenna is fed by 2 steps modified feed line (rectangular slit and square stub) satisfying the 50 Ω requirement. The reflection coefficient, VSWR, H- and E-plane radiation pattern and gain of the antenna at various frequencies are observed. This antenna can achieve realized gain ranging from 8.13 to 9.74 dBi value in the range of 65-90 GHz. This is designed to study effect of electrical properties in different substrates. We used CST to simulate its performance.

Example Project 3
Title: CPW Spiral Antenna Feed based on Composite Right/Left-Handed Unit
Description:
We designed a novel CPW spiral antenna, with a CRLH unit cell having narrow band Zeroth-Order resonance (ZOR) in Ansys HFSS. The feed line of the antenna is connected to the spiral radiator that controls the current distribution in order to achieve both UWB and circular polarization. This model provides two resonances at lower frequency. This antenna is used for one of our product’s wireless application (2.4 to 2.4835 GHz) and GSM 1800.
